Case Study: IBM
The Case Study on IBM's use of SOA was very interesting. If I recall correctly, when Lou Gerstner was hired to take over IBM, he stated that he had little knowledge of Informations Systems technology, yet Sandy Carter's book, The New Language of Business, SOA & Web 2.0, seems to credit him with implementing SOA at IBM, and the great success Sandy attributes to SOA at IBM. Your thoughts?
